With every child being vulnerable in our societies by being exposed to all kinds of gender based and all kinds of violence, it important for children to be aware, and recognize these dangers and be prepared to take action when this happens.
Gender-based violence may manifest in numerous ways:
- domestic violence,
- forced prostitution and marriage
In most cases, rape and other sexual abuses have been recognized as serious crimes under humanitarian law, its only recently has the international community addressed these forms of violence as serious infringements on women’s fundamental rights.
One way of creating and curbing these cases is reaching to our young boys, who are our future men in the society, while they are still young and teach them rise together with women and girls, to stand up and fight together against Gender based violence while they.
